As per my post last week, I'm all about trying to get enough iron becuase i don't want to find out I can't get it done because I'm anemic, which I have been in the past.

When you're not pregnant, the amount of iron you need: 18mg/day.
When you are: 27mg/day

that's crazy.

I don't know if you need it because it's for the baby or if it's because making a baby sucks all the iron out ofyou. I'm going to assume it's the latter, and make sure i get enough. Although let me tell you: short of eating liver (effff that!), it's very hard to consume 27mg/day.

Going to take a half hour snooze, head to lunch, then attempt to wrap my head around this. Yes. Still. I don't know if you ever get used to it leading up to it.
